What patients are saying...

My 6 year old was complaining of stomach pain. I did a telemed visit and they said because of his symptoms he would have to be seen in person. Someone texted me and scheduled an appointment for 10:20a. We arrived at the appointment 10 mins early and checked in. I did notice there were a few walk-ins waiting. After waiting about 20 mins my son had thrown up twice, and they knew because an emesis bag was given, and all of the walk-ins had been seen. So I decided to ask if they were any type of priority when the telemed dr sends you all notice that the patient needs to be seen in person and has an appointment. They proceeded to tell me that there isn’t a priority that we’re still on walk-in basis, which I don’t understand why they have appointments available and a person scheduling them if they don’t “do appointments and are walk-in only”. I would 10/10 NEVER recommend Access Medical to ANYONE!

Went in at 5:20, only one person ahead of me and they went back about 5:30. I was called back and seen at 6:30. Seems like a long wait when there was only one person ahead of me. Dr evaluation lasted 10 minutes

I got right in for my sinus infection. Everyone is always so kind and efficient and professional, and I always feel as if I've been given expert care. That's why I always come back to this office when I need the care right away.

Their online portal is apparently not for actually scheduling, but for simply checking in early. And does not guarantee you a spot. Additionally, my total visit was three hours to have somebody press on my stomach and do an x-ray. By then, I had forgotten an additional symptom I meant to bring up. Doc was GREAT, staff was super nice, but the doc was the only provider there! From what I understand, this is normal. It is not OK to overload your staff. Something is wrong at the corporate level.

They were in a hurry to get me out by closing time. Felt like I should have just went to the ER for a breathing treatment vs trying to find answers here. Nurse was friendly but the physician assistant seemed to honestly care less and just wanted to get home at closing time. I will try to avoid this location in the future

I struggle with migraines. None of which normally make me feel the need to go to an urgent care. However, I had had an ongoing migraine for almost 2 days and none of my normal medication helped. I feel as though I have a higher pain tolerance, and hate to make a big deal out of my migraines. In this situation, though, I had been in so much pain for an elongated period of time and felt helpless. This was only the second time ever I have gone to an urgent care for migraine pain, so I feel like that’s saying something about my level of pain. I waited for maybe 20 minutes, which was nice. However, when I was finally called back, I was back there for maybe a total of 5 minutes. The doctor told me nothing could be done for me besides being given ibuprofen. It seemed incredibly rushed. It’s important to note that it was near their closing time, and I can’t help but feel that was part of the quick nature of my visit. I paid a $45 copay, and left with simply a printed piece of paper with home migraine remedies. I had never been here before, and I guess I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I was at least hoping there was something, anything that could be done to ease my pain. But no, nothing at all was done. I left in tears knowing I had to endure another night of pain. It was an overall very disappointing visit. I will not be returning.

Went in because I had a fever and a cough, about 1 hour before close, and without an appointment. Additionally, my blood pressure was elevated. Dr. Longfellow and Staff were very, kind, patient and helpful. I definitely recommend Access Medical Centers (Riverside). I’ve been here on other visits and have always had exceptional service.
