Took my 17 month old to be seen. Check in process was easy and everyone was friendly. Did not wait too long in the room before the provider came in. However we saw a NP and she was nice, but not very thorough. I felt like we were rushed out and my concerns were brushed off. I was still trying to talk as she was getting up to walk out. It was just really an odd encounter. I ended up calling his pediatrician and doing a video appointment (which they don’t usually do, but after telling her about our visit to urgent care this morning while out of town, she did) she could hear his barking cough and stridor over the video chat, all signs of a classic case of croup. Low grade fever, RSV swab was negative. Giving his airway history, along with his history of severe croup requiring hospitalization (which I brought up stridor concerns at this clinic, but she didn’t hear it at the time and brushed me off about it coming and going at this point) his pediatrician called him in a steroid to help decrease his airway swelling as he fights off the viral infection and will see him in clinic when we get back in town tomorrow afternoon. I understand viral infections mean supportive care with not much you can do, as they fight it off, but had they took a little more time with us and cared to ask the right questions and listen to my concerns rather than changing the subject and asking where we are from..  we would have got a little more out of the visit I feel like. Earlier in the week, my 13 year old had to be seen here and our experience then with a different provider, was a great experience overall. I feel like it depends on who you see here.

Scheduled an hour beforehand and drove 30 mins since this was the only urgent care my insurance covered. Loved the appt setup and the system yall use. Every single staff member today was great and I loved interacting with them all. They’re quick, smart and efficient and friendly. However, you can tell there needs to be more staff. My appt was for 4:40, arrive at 4:35, didn’t see the doc for an ear infection til 6:20. Not because the staff did a bad job or was slow, but because there wasn’t enough staff to begin with. I would’ve gone somewhere closer and paid more money out of network or even out of pocket instead of driving an extra hour and waiting there for nearly 2 hours. I also had an appt but once I got there I was on the screen as up next the whole time and 5 others went before me. So I was confused why I made an appt in the first place. But regardless, grateful I got to see an awesome doctor and the staff are great!!

Very helpful and listened to everything. I just moved here and I had not established a primary care physician for refills on my medication that I have been on. My doctor was able to refill my prescriptions and was very attentive
