With only a few walk-in clinics nearby, AFC Urgent Care, Pell-City may be your best option for immediate care inPell City. They are open today from 8:00AM to 6:00PM, as well as 7 days a week. As long as you visit them during their business hours, you should be able to walk right into 20 Hazelwood Dr and be seen relatively quickly. The national average for patients waiting at an urgent care is between 15-30 minutes, so hopefully it shouldn't be too long of a wait.
As part of the American Family Care (AFC Urgent Care) group, they have a sister facility in Birmingham 20 miles away that you may want to consider if the wait gets too long.

GREAT service! The visit was made a lot easier by the way the receptionist handled everyone, the understanding of the doctor, and the GREAT work of the nurse giving a shot (he was VERY good)! Over 70 and going out during the situation of the world now, I was EXTREMELY nervous but they ALL put me at ease! I will definitely go back again if the need arises.

A bit of a long wait but there were a lot of patients already by 10am. The staff was very friendly and professional, as was the doctor. I got great instructions and the place is spotless. I regularly use this location because of consistence and quality.

I told them of two issues. They took care of 1 great and rushed me out the door after a 2hour wait in a room full of sick people and no mask. 4 days later tested positive flu A. No I won’t go back!

I called AFC in Pell City on 9-14-20 for appt. for Covid testing for a family member who had Covid symptoms. I was told I did not need an appt. and I could come at anytime. I asked about the latest time I could come and was told to be there by 5:30, as they closed at 6pm. I left work early and checked in at desk at 5:20 and told the 2 girls at the desk what I was there for. They stated that they only did Covid testing until 5pm. I explained, I had called 2 hours prior and was told to be there by 5:30 and could be Covid tested. They stated they were sorry but their Covid testing quota had been met for the day and asked if I could come back tomorrow. I stated that I could not so one lady went to the office manager to ask if my family member could be worked in that day and was told no. I stated my family member had a sore throat and earache and was told she could be seen for that but no Covid testing could be done because their "quota" had been met. I elected to go to another urgent care facility in Pell City and was seen and Covid tested without a problem. The 2 young ladies at the desk were very polite but seemed very uninformed. All in all, a very poor experience with AFC. Very poor customer service.
