I have a torn Meniscus. The only thing they did for me was to give me a brace and some worthless "super-ibuorofen" that is worthless for my pain. I had to go to a real ER to get any relief. Very bad experience.

I have a torn Meniscus. Inside the facility they have signs on the wall that say " we very rarely give out narcotic pain medication ". They gave me a brace and some "super ibuprofen" which I had to pay for and it is worthless. I had to go to another ER to get any help.

Do not go to this clinic if you have any other options. I had the misfortune of going to this urgent care when I had a lung infection. I could barely breathe, and desperately needed a round of antibiotics. When I told the PA, Kathryn Stocking, my symptoms she insisted that my head was congested due to an abundance of ear wax. I then spent an hour getting my ears cleaned out. The next hour was spent trying to convince Kathryn to please please listen to my lungs, as I was wheezing on the table. She continued to insist that it was a viral upper respiratory thing (it was not) and then switched pace to telling me it could be inflammation around my heart. At this point I'm starting to panic because I had believed this was walking pneumonia coming into the office, which can be easily treated with antibiotics. I didn't think it was something as severe as Pericarditis. So she runs an EKG. It comes back clean. I finally get her to run a panel on me which she led me to believe was bacterial. I leave the office 3 hours later with no prescription for antibiotics, but hope that my bacterial panel will come back the next day and she'll finally give me the treatment I need. So I wait. All day. With my breathing getting worse. Around 5pm I call the office to ask for my results so that I can pick up my antibiotics on the way home from work. The person on the phone tells me they don't have medical record clearance, and that my PA will call me back in a few minutes. An entire hour passes. I finally get a call back, and Kathryn tells me that my viral panel is clean. Viral panel? Wasn't this supposed to be a bacterial panel so that I could get antibiotics? Kathryn says that the urgent care does not do bacterial panels. I told her I could barely breathe and that I needed antibiotics now, and she FINALLLY prescribes me them along with an inhaler (that I could not get because my insurance kept knocking it back to her because the one she prescribed to me was not FDA approved). Guess what?? The antibiotics worked! I don't know if it was because I was trans, or had colored hair and tattoos, or what, but Kathryn Stocking would not believe my symptoms, ordered 2 completely unnecessary tests, had me get my ears cleaned out, and made me feel absolutely horrible. And I was footed with the bill.
