Clinician was in an extreme hurry. In and out in about 3 minutes. Prescribed antibiotics and offered a steroid shot. I asked for a particular cough suppressant since I had success with it in the past (non narcotic) as my coughing at night was limiting my sleep. When I went to the pharmacy to pick up only the antibiotic had been ordered. So I have more sleepless nights ahead of me now.

Made an appointment the evening before my visit, very easily done. I was the first patient of the morning, but still had to wait about thirty minutes after being shown to the exam room. I’m sure doctors have other important things to attend to, so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience. The doctor was friendly, provided a diagnosis,  and got me on my way quickly.  The negative I have for the visit was that my prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy. After filling out the form asking which pharmacy I preferred, and three people in the office asking, including the doctor, it was still sent to the wrong place. Not just a wrong location, but a completely different retailer.  Why do I fill out that check-in form if it’s not referred to?

Last-minute visit due to poison ivy, which was spreading. Came into the office 15 minutes before they closed and they took me right in. The treatment consisted of a steroidal and ointment. Very effective! Good folks at American Family Care.
