My 90 year old mother had a UTI, Conjunctivitis and a wax plug in one ear. The Dr. took care of all 3 and was very cordial. We are very satisfied with the care she received. My only complaints are minimal, paperwork online was not really bad, but not good either. Also it took a while to complete.

Took my son in for an appointment. When the physician came him he sat down in a chair across from my son. Came no where near the exam table. Acted like he was in a rush. Said he didn’t feel he needed to prescribe an antibiotic medication but he would send a prescription for cream instead to the pharmacy. An antibiotic cream seemed responsible instead of a pill. He spent less than 5 minutes with us. We left, I drove to the pharmacy. I waited in line at the pharmacy. Finally got to the counter. Then the pharmacist tells me the prescription that was put in was for neosporin. Said he was sorry I waited in line for something that was simply behind me and on the counter. Well if the doctor hadn’t been in a rush, if he would have said just treat this with neosporin at home. Well I already had neosporin at home along with bandaids, Tylenol, cough drops, etc., the basics one keeps in the cabinet. I would have left AFC and went home. Instead I went on a trip to the pharmacy for a “prescription” and wasted more time there than the length of time we were at AFC. The girls that checked us in and the young lady that took vitals was excellent. Hopefully they are treated kind and appreciated by the physician because he turned out to be useless. AFC has never accepted my insurance. The ladies at the counter are always happy to do the paperwork and try to get it covered but the insurance company always declines. AFC is where I have my sons sport physicals done once a year. This time I’m very interested to see the bill come in the mail and see how much it will cost me to have taken my son in for “care”. If the problem continues and we need a return visit, I will call ahead and make sure a different physician is on duty. Frankly he wasn’t wearing a white coat and I don’t remember him even introducing himself. The front counter will have to look back at the appointment records so I can even try to avoid him.

I went for a sinus infection. I made my appointment online it was easy and on a Sunday morning. Office staff and nurses was very friendly. The doctor was very helpful and showed me how to use my flownase without it running down my throat. Which has been a tremendous help using it. I would highly recommend this facility.
