First time checking in was a bit confusing and there was issues with the sign-in tablet, but the care and concern of the Staff and Doctor Patrick more than made up for the sign-in issues.

They made me get signed up on an ap which took forever after all they had all my information. I don’t want to download another app on my phone. I can’t seam to log in and get any information about my bloodwork. It’s a bad system. I hope they get the kinks worked out. When I went to my appointment, they didn’t even understand why I was there. It was all about the bloodwork. I know the doctor wasn’t in. He’s away for two weeks which is fine but they said I could talk to another doctor but when I was there, I waited almost 45 minutes and they still didn’t know why I was there or why they made the appointment for me. Bad communication

I went to this clinic for a pap smear and to find what type of infection since I had been suffering with a fungal infection for months. I felt like I was not welcome at this clinic. I was made to wait 45 minutes in the waiting room. The young ladies at the front were very helpful and very nice to me, but once I got into the doctor's office the medical assistant who took my information was curt, a bit impatient, unclear, and kind of demanding. I did not feel comfortable and I was nervous. There was also some miscommunication, because I was told to undress, then immediately she came back and told me I should not have undressed yet because they needed a urine sample. So I went to do that, I came back and waited again but went ahead and got into the stirrups on the examination table. The Nurse Practician who came in did not introduce herself, she just looked at me and and told me to scoot even more forward on the table. She seemed unfriendly, was not comforting at all. I felt like I should not be there. She concentrated on giving directions to the assistant. When they both got situated, the Nurse Practician inserted the speculum, she shoved it in so quick and rough I screamed in pain. Now I do understand its is been awhile since I had a pap smear but I have never, ever in my life experienced this type of pain. She then told me to take deep breaths but her manner was not comforting, she acted startled and reacted at me. She also proclaimed loudly to me, "we don't want to have to do this all over again". This was beyond comprehension. I felt scolded and I also felt threatened. She was basically telling me to suck it up and not be uncomfortable because other wise there would be more pain later. I felt stifled and lay there trying not to feel the pain. Because of this pain my bladder let go and she proclaimed loudly again about the urine. She got done with the exam and left. I sat there wondering what in the world I just went through. I had decided to go to a woman doctor because I felt women would be gentler, and I got the same old treatment I got from Male Doctors in the past. This was a very upsetting and traumatic experience. I felt humiliated and I felt actual physical pain from the speculum being shoved into me. When She returned to the room, the Nurse Practician did not apologize for the experience nor did she ask me how I was, she instead started a long complicated explanation about how she was going to bill me. She said, my medicare would not cover the procedure but she would bill it under something else. I have no idea why she was telling me this. I had sent in both my insurance cards and has double checked at the desk. Both times I was told they did take Medicare and my medgap insurance. Once we got past this, she decided to tell me she did not know what infection I had and they would have to wait. So I was left the entire weekend without any pain medication or prescription. I am still waiting on a response from her. I got tests back the following Monday showing nothing and no information on the pap smear. I will never return to this clinic and I wish I had never gone to this very insensitive person.
