I’m giving it 3 stars because I’ve had good experiences at carbon health before and the rest of the staff was met my needs with professionalism except for one person. I walked in, one and only one lady was at the front desk checking in a patient. I know check in can take some time with taking info and payment so I decided to sit down since there wasn’t anyone else behind me. Another lady comes through the door and asks if I have an appointment or if I’m a walk in. I tell her I’m a walk in and she gives me and attitude look guiding me to her window where she starts to wipe down the counter. I ask her how long the wait is for walk in. She said an hour and 30 minutes with an attitude. I paused for a second and told her I’m going to try to check other places wait times. I was in a lot of pain and it took a lot of strength and discomfort to even get me out of my house. As I’m walking out the door she told me to check Renown down the street. I get in my car and decide to check the online just in case. An available appointment 15 minutes and 30 minutes later were available. 15 minutes is not even near as long as an hour and 30 minutes most especially when you’re in pain. I don’t know if it’s customary to tell patients the wait is longer than it is to turn patients away or not. I thought her attitude was very rude and unprofessional. I work in the medical field. I know what it’s like to be stressed. But I can tell you we do not treat our patients that way even when we are busy. I got the vibe that she just wanted to go home. It was around 3:00 or 4:00 and I felt she just wanted to go home. I may visit carbon health again. But I will be avoiding this clinic in the future.

The front desk ladies are awesome but the nurse practitioner seemed so annoyed with me. I don’t really know if I could go to urgent care or a primary doctor, I’ve never had one I always went to urgent care even rarely go, but I came in thinking I have thrush and I still think I do, she barely scraped my tongue and just said I look at it too much and was quick to shut me up, I never complain but I did not feel cared at. I was hoping to get prescribed any fungal or antibiotics, I was looked at by my pharmacist and my family member who is also a an NP and said I definitely had thrush. Now I am a bit upset that she was in such a annoyed mood I now have to pay a fee for basically nothing. I am sorry for complaining, I rarely do but the way she treated me I didn’t like.
