THE STAFF HERE AND THE SUPERVISOR LIE. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR MEDICAL CARE HERE. This review is from an educated consumer (with a Masters degree) who experienced how disorganized and dishonest the patient care is at this location.
Update Monday 2/18/19: Spoke with a supervisor for this location. Supervisor disclosed that they received a shipment of flu shots Friday. Communication at this location is non-existent because she informed the Friday staff they had received flu shots. That message was not relayed to the Saturday staff and when we were there on Saturday they said they do not carry a flu vaccine for ages 5-8 (after waiting an hour). Furthermore, the supervisor *admitted* that the staff was not familiar with the vaccine they had received on Friday as they received a new shipment as the previous manufacturer had stopped making the vaccine. Per the supervisor, the staff was trained today, which is two days AFTER we were requesting said shot to be administered. So what is it? They don't every carry flu shots for 5-8yr old? They usally do and don't have them? They couldn't find the box? AND WHY DID THEY TELL US WE COULD HAVE A FLU SHOT FOR MY 5 yr old WHICH IS A VACCINE THEY WEREN'T EVEN FAMILIAR WITH (THE AGE RANGE HAS CHANGED BY THE MANUFACTURER). And if the age range has changed, it also means they LIED to us Saturday because they told us they do not carry a vaccine for ages 5-8 for the flu. Also, when I discussed calling the TX Board to file a complaint, the superviser wouldn't even give me her last name. I had provided my name and contact information requesting a call back so she could contact me with the names of the staff from Saturday (because she said she would have to find out who was there Saturday). Oddly, after I gave my contact information, she gave me the first names only (no last names even when I asked) of the Saturday staff. So why take my information and not provide *all* of the information I am asking. So dishonest. Do you have something to hide? Do you NOT want me to call the board? I guess you realize that you should know what you are trying to adminster. ALSO, I just read a review on Google and the response from the clinic is to contact SHAY. THE SUPERVISOR I SPOKE TO WHEN I ASKED FOR THE SPELLING OF HER NAME SPELLED SHA. REALLY? You are going to lie to me about how to spell your name? THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY LYING IN PATIENT CARE. PERIOD. UNACCEPTABLE
Review left the day of service 2/16/19: Completely disorganized. Informed the staff upon arrival that both an adult flu shot and flu shot for a 5 yr old were needed. They couldn't locate the paperwork for an adult flu shot. Continued to ask how long it was going to take and was repeatedly told "just a minute". After an hour of waiting, they finally say they can access the adult form for a flu shot, but they do not carry flu shots for 5-8 yrs old. As in, they don't carry them at any point in time and not that they happen to be out. Then, they try to push the adult flu shot despite the lack of disclosure regarding the 5-8 yr old shot. Adult shot was declined because of their dishonesty and disorganization.
