I am a practicing physician and when I developed fever it was necessary for me to get tested for CoVID 19 to see if I can continue to see patients. I came to Needham CareWell on July 15 at 3:30 pm.(they close at 8 PM) I was told by the front desk that they were not accepting any more patients. I asked if I can get some professional curtesy as a physician with a fever. I did not ask to be seen right away but only in addition. A man at the front desk told me if I spoke to him nicely he might be able to do something but not out of courtesy Terrible

I am extremely unhappy with the lack of professionalism here. I was from out of town, from NJ, and went on Sunday as my 15 year old daughter had a bad sore throat. The immediate strep test was negative. On the following Tuesday I received a pleasant call from someone there asking me to call if I had a minute or so. It was not a crisis situation, but appeared to be just a friendly call. I tried them back immediately but did not get anyone. My daughter remained very sick. On Friday, I received a call from CareWell Urgent Care that the test was positive. They had this information since Tuesday but did not bother to try me again, nor email me. They even sent a script to CVS in Needam although I had never put this location down and lived in NJ. This was TOTAL neglect. To know this information, ignore the patient's suffering for several days and let a 15 year old suffer for days is outrageous. I hope they will be more appropriate with their patients in the future, but no one could reassure me that things would be different. Sad and unprofessional. It is not worth the risk of taking your sick child there as there is not appropriate treatment if your patient is sick.
