I had a small medical procedure/surgery at this office a couple months ago. The RN, Azin Raouf, asked me to schedule the procedure while she was their, so that she could see it being done, as she had never seen this procedure done before. I scheduled the procedure to accommodate her schedule. Also I asked her if the procedure would be covered under my insurance and she told me it would be. When I arrived for my procedure, she was not there and the doctor didn't seem to have a clue why I was there that day, which was very discomforting when you are about to be cut open. Two months later I got a bill for almost $700. I called the billing department and told them what the nurse had told me about it being covered. The representative told me that there was no way the RN could have known that information. I would not have had this procedure had I known it was going to cost this much. I don't have an extra $700 to spare. Always check with your insurance yourself, because these folks apparently have no idea what is going on. I will not be back to this office.
