NextCare Urgent Care, Glendale (W Northern Ave)

No problems at all everything went smooth thank you very much for your care and patience.

I was pleased overall with friendly and helpful, step-by-step personnel, however, I was disappointed that next care did not have ultrasound or imaging equipment to take care of potentially more serious conditions in the patient.

Decided to go to urgentcare due to coughing, congestion and earache. Arrived on time and was seen soon after, with vitals taken and testing. Saw physician with more testing and final results and sent to pharmacy for Rx medication which had been sent for me to pickup.

I thought it was a walk in clinic. Then I found people being taking in after I came in. Learned that these people had appt scheduled. This would have put me later in seeing my he Md. The office lady was nice. However reported it could be an hour or so before I would be called back. When I was trying to find another urgent care, they finally called me back. The PA was great. Displayed compassion and listened. Checked my records to place me on antibiotic that would not interfere with my medication previously taking.

I had been seen for a sprained ankle that at the time was possibly broken.  The urgent cares Xray machine was not working. I was referred to another site for xray and told I was on their waitlist. When I arrived at the new site, I learned that it had been closed for the past three hours.  I will not be returning to NextCare for my healthcare needs.

My husband developed a blister like rash, which turn out to be shingles. I was able to get an appointment 20 minutes before arriving at the office, which was great. We didn’t have to wait much and the front desk gal was very kind and explained steps and self-pay options kindly. When we got called for the vitals, the female nurse was also patient and took the time to ask about his health, she was professinal and emphatetic to my husband’s pain. We didn’t have to wait long for the nurse practitioner, who immediately identify that his condition was shingles. However, during this interaction I felt rushed. We had several questions because this condition is new to us, and feel we were not given the time to asked them. Our entire interaction lasted no more than 5 minutes, if it even lasted that. She rushed to leave and we were even lost as to whether we had to wait in the room, so we decided to wait and after about 10-12 minutes we had our checkout paperwork. I think it’s important to allow your customer/patient to ask questions after diagnosis.

Coughing and shortness of breath. Took me in within 5 minutes of arriving. Did chest X-rays and breathing treatment. Everyone who tended to me were wonderful. Communication was great. Dr. Was waiting for X-rays and asked if I wanted to wait or go home. I went home and she called once results came in. Highly recommended!

The assistant of Nurse Practitioner - Ronald - was extremely rude. I am amazed how is he employed in such sensitive and customer facing role.  The competence of Nurse practitioner was lacking - her suturing skills were not up to the mark.

The med tech gave me my t.b test and it hardly hott.

The staff was amazing. scheduling online  was so easy and quick.  Thenk you!!
