Today I took both of my granddaughters to the Urgent Care in Delafield, WI. In this day and age people only usually call to complain. This is a great note for the staff at that Urgent Care. I have never felt more welcomed and comfortable in a Dr.'s office. My granddaughters were lucky enough to see Dr. Michael Long. He has fabulous bedside manner and was amazing with the kids. Even they were comfortable at 5 and 18 months. His staff brought them stickers and my offered a juice box to the 5 year old after some bad tasting medicine. Our family is lucky to have had a fantastic pediatrician for the last 32 years. I will now consider this location myself if I have to be seen in as swift as manner as the girls did today. Overall I give this location an A+.

I was at Delafield Urgent Care this morning. Horrible wait time after seeing nurse. She was friendly but then I saw the Nurse Practitioner…..Zimmerman was her last name. She was curt, rude and dismissive. I actually had to ask for the eye drops for my conjunctivitis. She kept calling it viral. Well my eyes are red, itchy, crusty…..I think as a former RN that an antibiotic was in order. She should be ashamed of herself…..seems more concerned with her appearance than duties!!!

They dont care about health and care of people-- JUST MONEY! I was told a 2.5 hour or longer wait with only 2 others in the waiting room. I was having severe abdominal pain and very heavy period bleeding. Rude nurse or whatever she was, told me that at my age, (41) it was just hormone fluctuations, and likely nothing more than period cramps, and i should just take some tylenol and "take the day off". And when i was asked for insurance information, and I said i was not insured, i was essentially told go elsewhere. Went to the ER. where i was actually seen by someone who cared about peoples health, and not just $$! It was a ruptured ovarian cyst. I was pain meds (more then just Tylenol), resources for being uninsured, paperwork and places for help in my situation, as well as a scheduled follow-up appointment at a free clinic. Go to Aurora. They're much more helpful and caring.

When you walk in, they need to tell you to go online to reserve a place. Service was terrible, not even a “I’m sorry” you have to wait so long. Came in at 1145, told to come back at 1. Did so and waited another hour. Just ridiculous. Btw, no one other person in waiting room when I arrived.
