While the staff was friendly and my wait time not bad, I injured my hand and required stitches, however the PA who stitched it was really not qualified to care for a hand injury. Instead of referring me to the ER and a surgeon I received an improper closing of my hand. I was then told to come back to remove stitches before I should have. When I returned for the removal I shared my concern with the nurse that my wound was not completely healed. She did not listen or call on a doctor to view my hand but just removed the stitches. Consequentially my hand did not heal well. I have nerve damage and pain and now need to see a specialist. If you have a hand or head injury do NOT go there...go to your area's best ER and see a surgeon!

I went to St. Peter's urgent care due to having very high blood pressure and a headache. I waited over an hour in the waiting room. When I was taken to a room, the nurse who took my blood pressure was extremely rude and insisting she take it on my right arm. After having a lymph node dissection, this is a huge no no. She eventually rolled her eyes and huffed, and took it on the left. My blood pressure was higher than 200/170. I waited at a minimum another hour for the PA to come in. Again they wanted to take blood pressure on the right. So my blood pressure came down a little but in no where near a safe range. The PA told me they do not do medications at urgent care, to go home and rest, and follow up with my primary care in a few days. I went down the hall and told my primary what had just happened. A nurse immediately came out, took my blood pressure, took me to a room and returned with the doctor. Yes I needed medication. Do not waste your time or money on this shameful excuse of a health care clinic. Call your regular doctor or go to the ER so you get the care you need. Total time wasted at urgent care: 3 hours.

When I went to Saint Pete’s urgent care the nurse called me with my test results and was very rude to me! She should’ve been fired! I was very upset as it was and it turned that the test results were wrong!
