I was told to go there by my Summit Medical Group pcp. When I arrived there and checked in, I was told they will close soon. I was sent to hospital emergency room again. Such a waist time.

Before entering Summit Medical Group Urgent Care each patient is triaged to determine whether you are experiencing covid 19 symptoms and to identify the reason for the urgent care visit. During triage you may indicate that your visit to urgent care is in response to a request from a primary care physician to receive certain medical services (i.e., radiology). However, if the services are presently unavailable at that urgent care facility, at triage you will not be informed that such medical services are presently unavailable and will be accepted as an urgent care patient unless you describe covid 19 symptoms. Those with covid 19 sysmptoms will not be allowed to enter the urgent care facility and will be requested to seek care at a hospital. Unfortunately, doctors and the media have reported that contagious patients who are infected with covid 19 may not presently exhibit symptoms. Further, patients may not accurately describe their symptoms. As a result, there is a risk that patients infected with covid-19 and who are contagious could possibly enter any urgent care facility. Therefore waiting for a doctor does present a risk for possible exposure to covid 19. So to be later informed by a doctor that the services you seek such as radiology are unavailable at Summit Medical Urgent Care and that you must go to an emergency room at a hospital after being (1) in a waiting room, (2) seen by the nurse and (3) seen by the doctor, all with the risk of possible exposure to covid 19 regardless that the services identified during triage were unavailable is completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury, to be later informed by Summit Medical that no patient infected with Covid 19 could possibly be in their urgent care unit due to their triage process is inaccurate. Due to Summit Medical Urgent Care's unnecessarily allowing patients to enter their facility during this covid 19 pandemic for services which are unavailable is unacceptable and for that reason alone the urgent care at Summit Medical receives 0 to 1 stars.

went in with two Cancer problem .. came out with one cancer gone ...still have the a cancer because they can't get the drug.. it's been two year waiting... i think they do a so-so job, so you kept coming back so they can more money... and they gave me a new problem now that i will have for life.. thank's Summit Medical Group for making my life worst then before.. NICE JOB... Look... you have Cancer Please go to a true cancer center.. like M.S.K. or MD Anderson... please trust me you will do better and get better but NOT Summit Medical Group is just a hospital with a cancer dept....M.S.K. & Anderson they do research and work to get you in, and work on the cancer... not just going in and cutting out the cancer every 3 months... like a oil change... so they kept saying the drug is coming , but it never comes ..hope with no end at this place . MD Anderson is a hour and a half for me to drive one way and its worth it.. I have two friends that drove down to MD Anderson. because it's a true cancer center .and now they are cancer free... please, please go to a true cancer not a hospital that says it has a cancer center.... you don't see anyone driving an hour and a half to go to summit Medical cancer center. do you?
