What patients are saying...

I made an appointment at 1245. The provider gave me three prescriptions and they were supposed to be sent to my pharmacy which we confirmed several times. I didn’t go directly to the pharmacy after the appointment because I didn’t want to wait for them to be filled. So I went about 4 hours later to find out that the pharmacy never received my prescriptions. I call back to the urgent care and waited a long time to speak with someone. She told me that “they were sent” and that she would recheck and send them again. I asked what I should do and she said that they would call me when it was confirmed. I waited an hour and called back only to let it ring for a long time. Finally someone answered and told me that the provider has been in with a very serious patient for a long time and hasn’t looked at it. She assured me that when it was sent, she would call me. 60 more minutes passed and I was now up against the pharmacy closing, so I decided to drive there and get the paper scripts. When I arrived, she said that they were sent, but still no phone call. So I requested paper scripts. The point is that I haven’t been able to start any medication because they never sent it to the pharmacy after my original appointment. I’ve never had this happen before, but clearly I am irritated and even more because I don’t feel well and probably shouldn’t even be driving in my condition.

Stay far away from this urgent care. The provider I saw, not even sure she was a doctor, she didn’t present herself or anything but I went in for several spider bites in multiple areas on my body. She barely glanced at them and told me they weren’t spider bites and then asked if they itched and I said yes and she said yeah spider bites don’t normally itch….i have 2 veteran RNs in my family and they are both the ones that told me to be seen because they were indeed spider bites and you can do a quick google search and see they were indeed spider bites including itching being a very common symptom of them. I ended up going to a different urgent care and was told by the doctor they were indeed spider bites and looked like brown recluse bites at that so was prescribed medication to treat. So dissatisfied as brown recluse bites can be extremely serious if left untreated so had I taken the first providers word for it, it could have gotten very bad for me. Glad I followed my gut and got a second opinion.

The medication prescribed was rejected by my insurance. The pharmacy contacted NextCare yesterday to see about a getting a different prescription, but still hasn't heard anything. In the meanwhile, my eye lid is swollen, painful and extremely itchy. It's been 24 hours. My prior experiences have been great. But if this isn't resolved pretty quickly, I will have to find somewhere else in future and will not recommend this location.

The provider I saw, didn't send the orders that she requested on discharge paperwork.  I went to try and get these things done. One order was not written correctly and the other was not showing in system and was not able to take my lab samples.  Waste of time and money!!!

I paid 150 for them to prescribe me Zofran -which I can’t even take due to me being in my first trimester. They didn’t take my temp or anything. Basically told me to deal with the SEVERE morning sickness I’ve been having. When going in I had not kept anything down for over 48 hours. I got no fluids, there was nothing done. She didn’t even listen to my heart/ breathing for more than 2 seconds. Do not recommend this location. Especially women who are pregnant.
