I called in the morning and was able to get an appt.when I wanted in the morning. I was able to preschedule a time slot, which is great! The wait was only about 15 min. Everyone was very polite and courteous. The MD. really listened to what I had to say and didn't rush me. He was very knowledgeable and gave me very good advice! I would highly recommend this provider and Medical Care Facility !

If the staff could cut out the noisy conversations with each other in the back then they could devote more time getting patients through in a more timely manner. Very impressed with Dr. Holly Graber.

This was my first visit there and I scheduled an appointment online and completed all the paperwork online. I arrived 10 minutes early and signed some documents and waited for an hour before I was called. The staff was nice and apologized for my wait and the doctor I saw was very nice but I doubt I’ll go back there

I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

This place was extremely efficient and a very easy process. Needed a last minute Covid test and this had open availability right away and got me through super quickly while still paying a lot of attention to detail and explaining everything thoroughly.

The online booking was very easy and the process was quick. The man who helped me take my test was prepared and guided me through every step. Overall, the test was really efficient and the staff was kind.

I was afraid to take the test because of rumors of the ling, painful procedure. I am happy to report that it was quick and painless! My eyes didn't even water. Now I'm praying for negative results. I have been healthy sine before the start of COVID.

At this Covid command testing center I thought things were streamlined very well; schedule seemed to be such that there was no waiting and people moved along quickly; separate entrances and exits; and although this was not a very convenient location for me coming from Medina county I’ll say that it was nice to go to a separate testing facility versus a hospital or medical center— because you didn’t have to walk far from the parking lot, there was one set of registration desks, and the testing was held in rooms right around the corner from them... in and out quickly was a big plus!

I live 45 min. away, but I have made 3 trips here for COVID testing for my son and myself. I return because I know I will get same day results and everyone is so polite from the reception staff to the extremely friendly technician who performed the test...she is wonderful and makes a not so pleasant test a breeze!! GREAT EXAMPLE OF WHAT A CLINIC EXPERIENCE SHOULD BE!! Great job, everyone!!

this was a good experience. The tester was very pleasant and efficient, and the process was very easy. I would definitely for these reasons recommend this testing site. I booked my appointment online and the providers bedside manner was wonderful. Service was immediate and the check in process was very convenient. The providers bedside manner was great and I would recommend this clinic

Really well organized and easy to do. In and out in under 5 minutes. Access drive is a little hidden for first time visitors. Not at the hospital: Test Center is on south side of Pleasant Valley Road ,East of York.

They are so efficient at this covid test center on Pleasant Valley Rd. Second time I had to go there and would highly recommend the place. One exception is I had a tx reminder at 4:30 am. I could do without that time reminder totally disrupted my sleep for the rest of the early morning. What's up with that?

- Verified patient on 1/28

I was given a choice of several testing sites none of which were within 25 miles where I live in Aurora Oh. I chose the Parma site. It took me 30 miles to the site and then of course 30 miles to return. Not good. While in the testing site all present had masks on including me, plus the large plastic screens in place at the desk. If more than 1 person spoke at a time it was impossible to understand what was said. The person who gave me the test was friendly but she was not at all gentle when administering the test. It felt like she was up into my brain. Is that really necessary? It was extremely upsetting and I became upset and crying. I have received 2 vaccines and I am well past the 2 weeks of acquired immunization status. Unless I am on my deathbed I will never get a co-vid test again. You may use and/or publish my feedback, but I doubt if you will publish it.

Everything went quick and easy at this covid-19 testing location. However if you Google University hospitals near me when you're in this parking lot the only location that comes up is the main hospital 2 miles away. This location needs to be added to Google Maps.

Staff at time of walk in was superb in explaining the details of the Testing. Nurse Judy who took my culture was very professional with explaining the details of the test, along with providing assurance that I was doing well in accepting the nasal culture test...congrats to all in providing services to us! My nurse ... I apologize it flew out of my head her name (maybe Cheryl?), she was very courteous, kind and placed me at ease as to how the test would proceed. The test was done efficiently and kindly (I’ve heard horrible stories from others getting tested). She should train other nurses, she’s a 10/10.

Went in for Covid test . No waiting , taken back Nurse was awesome , caring !!! Lakes with me a bit about my cancer and upcoming surgery . Was not pushing out the door . Wonderful experience !!!!

It was my first time taking my son for a Covid test. We were both pretty nervous. The nurse was wonderful. Gentle and comforting for him but also thorough with information for me. What a great experience for our time of angst.

- Verified patient on 10/11

My experience was excellent. I had a video talk with a PA who ordered a COVID test and called in an antibiotic. I also had an exam and strep test with a Nurse Practitioner. The wait was short and the staff were very nice and professional. I am so grateful I was able to be seen, tested, and treated close to home and on the same day I called in.

The lady on site was patient and had a warm demeanor. She walked me through my testing options as well as the process itself. Genuine caring people are hard to come by these days, and it was nice to feel cared for in such an uncertain situation!

My mother is 89 years old and needed a COVID test before a procedure she is having this week. She was scheduled at the Pleasant Valley Rd. facility. We arrived early because of the snow. Upon arrival, I went inside to check in, and the workers were kind enough to come to the car and test my mom so she didn’t have to struggle with her oxygen in this horrible weather! They went above and beyond to make it easier for her! It was greatly appreciated! Thank you UH!!

I took my son in for a Covid test. The woman administering the test was kind, and explained everything she was doing, as well as what to expect to happen next. She listened to my concerns, and was very sweet toward my little boy. I'd definitely return here for future health concerns.

My two kids and I were tested for Coronavirus. Everything went smoothly and the nurse was very nice. The only thing that I wish had been different is that we were told that we would receive a nose swab that would go only part way up. When we arrived to be tested the nurse explained that if we had gone directly through Urgent Care we would have received the swab that went halfway up, however we set up our appointment through a virtual visit and the only swabs that were available were the ones that go deep into the nasal cavity. I had unfortunately told my kids that they would not have that particular swab because that is what we were told. It all went well for them but I wish there hadn't been that confusion.

I wish I could give staff friendliness a million stars. I was super nervous about the covid test and the nurse talked me through it and made sure I was okay. She was friendly, and I enjoyed talking to her. The doctor was also very nice and answered all questions I had. Beyond happy with this visit. I will be back (hopefully no time soon haha).

Parma Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
