AFC Urgent Care, Boulder

I went in one morning after a week of mucus in the chest and some slight wheezing. As usual all of the staff were friendly, professional, kind and helpful. The doctors and nursing staff were also fantastic. The only reason I am slightly disappointed was in the diagnosis. Perhaps it was poor timing but the provider was unable to recognize that my coughing and mucusy symptoms was due to bronchitis. My chest at the time did come through clear, however, I was feeling petty terrible. She sent a test for upper body respiratory bacterial infection, which came back negative and prescribed me a number of medications for coughing, only. Nothing helped and so I had to visit another doctor 5 days later, who almost immediately diagnosed bronchitis and gave me an antibiotic. It's hard to not feel like the need to move fast to get patients through the process (I saw some sort of timer) led to the misdiagnosis and a lot of money spent just for an antibiotic.

Provides a much needed service.  So grateful they are close, availability and resolves medical issues

Walked-in without an appointment. While the wait time was a bit long, my daughter was seen within a reasonable amount of time. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive from the front desk staff, triage nurses and doctors, everyone made sure that we were well taken care of. The front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure that we got the prescription filled the same evening by sending the prescription to multiple pharmacies (due to the prescription being out of stock). I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Found it to pretty much be a pointless visit that took way too long and didn’t help me whatsoever

I’ve taken my children and myself to AFC urgent care Boulder a number of times now and they are awesome ! Extremely easy to schedule, hardly no wait time at all, basically walked right in- staff and Drs were friendly, very helpful, and efficient! Took my daughter in for a strep test over the weekend and was out within 30 min. Got meds and on with life ! So easy. Thanks again. Highly recommend. Will be going back for any future needs we have.

I suspected a fracture with my foot. The staff had a wheelchair for me on check in and after the visit helped me transistion from crutches to my car. Seamless quality of care at every exchange throughout the process with  friendly, caring and with informative professional results. Sprain or fracture? Worth the visit, X-ray on site and quick response.

Your staff does not kNOW anything about CDL REGULATIONS. WOULD NOT GIVE ME A DOT PHYSICAL. I WENT ... TO A DIFFERENT CLINIC TO DAY AND GOT IT DONE.

I was a walk-in patient and the front desk personnel were great. Professional and helpful. Dr. Kaitlyn was knowledgeable and thorough by ensuring she took everything into consideration. UFC continues to deliver a great service.
