AFC Urgent Care, Downingtown

The entire staff was very nice however the receptionist was extremely nice and very efficient in helping me with my questions and requests.

I’ve been to this urgent care many times and have always had a great experience, which is why I continue to go back.  The staff at check-in were excellent, and we only waited about 5 minutes to be seen. Unfortunately, our experience with the nurse who brought my 11-year-old daughter back for triage was not so great. My daughter had a 103-degree fever and was clearly not feeling well. The nurse was not particularly friendly or comforting, which I could have overlooked, but what bothered me most was how rough she was when administering the COVID/FLU and strep swabs. And then again with the MONO finger prick. I’ve never seen these tests performed so rough or take so long. My daughter is a trooper and handled it well, but it just seemed more aggressive than necessary. The doctor (PA) performed an additional swab afterward to send off, and the difference was night and day. He was quick, gentle, friendly, and even a little silly with my daughter, which made the experience so much easier. I understand these tests aren’t pleasant, but a little kindness and gentleness go a long way -especially when dealing with a sick child.

Staff were wonderful, they were comforting and professional. I would come back.

I would highly recommend this provider .  The front desk person and Michael the NP were both great .    My little dog mistakenly bit me on a Sunday evening.  (It was a small bite. I cleaned the wound. Stopped the bleeding. I knew his shots were up to date. ) I have been to my local AFC UC before and was pleased with the care.  However, the reason I did not give the scheduling system a five star is that when I checked "injury" for reason of visit, the system responded with no availablity the next day.  So I tried again, but this time I checked "illness" as reason for visit and was able to get an early morning next-day appointment.

Xray machine broke before we could get looked at but the practitioner was super.

I have been having severe spasms and finally went to urgent care, I was so glad that I did. Everyone was professional and the bedside manner was professional, courteous and respectful. They listened to my concerns and I appreciated his attentiveness. Five stars!⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Scheduling was easy.  Check in was very pleasant.  All staff were extremely helpful.  The Dr.  whose name is Madhavi  Cheruuri  is patient, knowledgeable and insightful.  I would strongly recommend every part of this team.  Thank you.
