The care provider was absolutely wonderful and compassionate.  The x-ray results took a bit of time but they kept me informed concerning the wait time.  I would highly recommend AFC when Urgent Care is needed.

3.The front desk trainee tried to charge me 75 for what should have been a 30 co pay fortunately, her supervisor caught a mistake after I questioned it so the correct fee was charged, but the PA provider misdiagnosed conjunctivitis as dry eye syndrome, giving me medication that did not work, now the condition spread. I wanted to take a walk

Over all the staff other than the provider that "treated" me were pleasant. The P.A. was not adressing my concerns, and didn't even LOOK at what I was trying to explain to him. Also after reading his report which it was clear that he didn't listen or even pay attention. I have a pretty major permanent injury to my wrist that I've had multiple surgeries on and was attempting to try to explain how there was swelling and was trying to explain about the reconstruction and stress on my connective tissue inside and he literally not only cut me off when talking but DID NOT COMPARE or even pretend to look at my wrists to acknowledge what I was trying to explain. He ever so lightly barely even touched me in an area that WAS NOT where I said was hurting asking if that hurt. I then said NO it hurts in here between my bones from the top and wraps around and the whole arm is now sore on the inside and I can't bend it, so I'm wondering if it has a small fracture now. He asked me to squeeze his fingers which I told him were VERY weak and my regular neuropathy was much worse than usual. Didn't even address my shoulder that I told him was now giving me more pain than even the wrist was. THEN I try my best to accommodate an extremely painful process which I kept telling the xray tech due to the lack of mobility in my shoulder and instead of trying to make it easier for me just insisted I do position myself which is understandable to a point but didn't try to maneuver the equipment in a way to even try to make it so my arm wasn't in such an uncomfortable angle. Then after I'm now in even more pain than sken I came in the provider just says "well there's nothing broken" and was going to EXIT the room! No review of the xrays no discussion AND I HAD TO ASK FOR A SLING! I mean i just told this man how I fell getting up to pee n tripped over a blanket and exacerbated not one but TWO preexisting injuries one of which (my wrist I've had multiple surgeries on) I tried to explain it should have gotten treatment for BEFORE I tripped the night before. But ALSO that my shoulder that hurt WORSE at the moment and he doesn't even go over anything with me, or offer a sling to immobilize it from further damage? Then I read his "report" where he minimized or completely left out things he never took the time to even evaluate correctly if at all. I feel that because I'm on state insurance I was treated like I didn't deserve good attention and he treated me like I was wasting HIS time and my concerns weren't important or even relevant. Also there were MULTIPLE patients there at that time that I witnessed his lack of care. I would recommend avoiding this man as a caregiver.
