AFC Urgent Care, Hickory

Every time we’re seen at AFC it’s an amazing experience. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the providers genuinely want to help get us to feeling better. After so many years it’s nice to have a great experience over and over.

Love the checking in online. The office staff were friendly and efficient. The medical staff were exceedingly caring and helpful. I would only go to this Urgent care!

Repeat customers should not have to re-enter the same information every visit.

I didn’t care for doing the check in on my phone. The receptionist was not very friendly and talked to low and had her to repeat everything she said. Being a senior citizen and not feeling great and then having to deal with check in!  The nurse was very pleasant and the nurse practitioner was great!

This was not my first time at this urgent care, and I have previously never had a bad experience. However, my visit yesterday was unsatisfactory.  Not because of the care, but because of company “ policies “ .  I would like to have a representative of this company to contact me so we could have a discussion about my visit.  I’m refraining on putting this information on the review, because the situation was complicated,  and I am going to have to contact my insurance company about what happened.  In short,  this was a case of not looking and listening to the patient,  and hiding behind “ policies”.

All was good! Great service.. friendly staff.. no waiting!!!

I first went here a few years ago when I had first moved here & didn't yet have a doctor. At that time, I was very impressed with the quality of the care. I felt seen and the doctor asked pertinent questions, not just the rote questionnaire. Two & a half years later, I couldn't get a timely appointment with my doctor. I came in again and again, had a productive interaction. I especially like that they send you home with information on your medicines and treatment. I feel my regular doctor is inadequate by comparison.

Everything was great. Everyone was nice. Not pushy. Liked my experience. Thank you.
