Mom of toddler here. This was my first time using AFC urgent care. Our pediatrician's office could not work us in for a sick visit until 3pm, but I suspected my child might need an antibiotic and didn't want to wait until the afternoon since he was so miserable. I booked an appt at 9:15am for an hour later (10:15am) on a weekday. Being able to book an appt at urgent care is critical when you have a toddler! Wait time was minimal (had filled out new patient forms from home). AFC was not busy at all and all staff persons were quite friendly. The person at the front desk kindly interacted with my toddler and I really appreciated the bedside manner and competence of the Nurse Practitioner we ultimately saw. After confirming the need for an antibiotic, we ran to the pharmacy and my child got their first dose by 11ish am, which was a terrific turn around! *The only thing that I can think of that could have improved the experience was the clinic having standard/common Rx's on site. We experienced that one time on a trip where the urgent care clinic doubled as a small-time pharmacy; the convenience of leaving urgent care WITH the Rx and avoiding another errand to the pharmacy was above and beyond. No criticism to AFC, but something to consider. **TBD on final cost of the visit. Our insurance was in-network, but you never know until you get that bill. It will be that bill - and continued convenience of getting an appointment - that will influence decisions about future visits to AFC. Overall, very positive experience - WOULD RECOMMEND!

The staff was very friendly, welcoming and professional. The wait time was almost zero and I didn’t have an appointment. The doctor was very informative and answered all of my questions. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone needing to see a doctor on short notice.
