The physician had zero idea anything about my case or chart and had to ask me things that were clearly noted in my chart. Your facility continues to show poor care and incompetence, telling me you’re going to closely monitor my injuries for awhile longer at one visit and 72 hours later giving me someone who has no idea what’s going on and who says they can just close my case now and I don’t need any further appointments.

We were in from out of town and I was not feeling good. I was able to schedule an appointment via the internet quickly and was seen fast and was on my way in no time. The PA I saw was so kind and made sure I was fixed up so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation:) Highly recommend.

Easy registration, everyone was kind, I was expecting an hour wait as there were 4 people ahead of me.  There was minimal wait time once I finished the documentation and payment process.  The nurse was kind, caring, and expedient.  She took the test swabs before leaving.  The attendant came in was thorough in his questioning...and understood what I needed. He was going to have the nurse come in to take samples...it was already done and being processed. The attendant came back in with the results, provided me directions; and answered questions I had. It was a very good experience!  Thank you!!!

Basically called me a liar for pointing out that my last couple of visits I had waited 2+ hours to be seen. This is after they refused to see me because I wasn’t 15 minutes early. I had received no communication about arriving early, and in addition to not wanting to wait 2 hours to be seen, I had to drive an hour and a half because of where this urgent care is located (it was a requirement to go to this location due to workers comp). The people at the front desk were very rude and unhelpful. There was absolutely no one in the waiting area, and I was on time for the appointment. Keep in mind as well that when you “make an appointment” for anything, you get a notice that this is not an actual appointment, but “holding your place in line.”  All in all, a really awful experience!!

I was stung by a GMOed bee wasp two days ago. Thankfully after an epsom salt soak they gave me a steroid to treat the remainder of the venom. The staff from AFC Urgent Care Lakewood was awesome. Thank you for helping me!

I came to AFC with extreme lower left quadrant pain. I did not have an appointment, but I didn't have to wait that long. Once vitals were taken and I was put in a room, it was only a matter of maybe 10 minutes and the PA came in. She asked me where my pain was and I explained. She examined and determined it was diverticulitis. She referred me to the hospital so that more extensive testing could be done. She was wonderful and knew right away what was going on. I was in and out in about 1 hour. I have been to this AFC before and both times were good.

I was especially impressed by the kindness of the NP and doc who saw me. After my xrays came back ok, they insisted that I go to ER anyway for a CT scan for my back based on my symptoms vs imaging alone. I was hesitant, but agreed to go. Sure enough ER confirmed an L4 fracture and provided the needed care and follow up. Had the urgent care team not insisted I go, this would have been much worse. I am deeply grateful that they saw beyond the black and white imaging and had me take the right steps. I am deeply grateful for their wonderful skill, compassion, and care. Super impressed!
