I was stung by a GMOed bee wasp two days ago. Thankfully after an epsom salt soak they gave me a steroid to treat the remainder of the venom. The staff from AFC Urgent Care Lakewood was awesome. Thank you for helping me!

I came to AFC with extreme lower left quadrant pain. I did not have an appointment, but I didn't have to wait that long. Once vitals were taken and I was put in a room, it was only a matter of maybe 10 minutes and the PA came in. She asked me where my pain was and I explained. She examined and determined it was diverticulitis. She referred me to the hospital so that more extensive testing could be done. She was wonderful and knew right away what was going on. I was in and out in about 1 hour. I have been to this AFC before and both times were good.

I was especially impressed by the kindness of the NP and doc who saw me. After my xrays came back ok, they insisted that I go to ER anyway for a CT scan for my back based on my symptoms vs imaging alone. I was hesitant, but agreed to go. Sure enough ER confirmed an L4 fracture and provided the needed care and follow up. Had the urgent care team not insisted I go, this would have been much worse. I am deeply grateful that they saw beyond the black and white imaging and had me take the right steps. I am deeply grateful for their wonderful skill, compassion, and care. Super impressed!

it was easy to schedule. Staff were super friendly. Check in took about 2 seconds and they followed up a couple days later to see how I was doing.

Came in to get my foot checked out as it’s been swollen for three days. They were very quick to check it and very thorough. Turned out to be a broken foot. They fitted me for a boot and sent everything to my orthopedic surgeon. Highly recommend.

Had a cold for 9 days but started feeling much worse.  Was driving cross country and friends suggested stopping at AFC in Lakewood, CO on our way through Denver.  Walked in without an appointment, there was a little wait time, but it was worth it because PA Rob provided comprehensive and efficient care!  Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of Urgent Care!

I went there for an ear infection, they were super fast and attentive with the service. The Dr. who took care  of me was very professional  and helpful.

I had an episode of dizziness, severe nausea and felt weak and light headed. The PA was very kind, knowledgeable and professional. I have been here before and always get good quality care! Thank you!!
