I'm a Long Covid researcher and have only had to go to an "urgent care" facility a handful of times in my life. There was little that seemed "urgent" about it and even less "care." Going to AFC Urgent Care Bayside, however, was a far different - and far superior - experience. The staff was relaxed and friendly, there were no nurse practitioners present trying to pass themselves off as physicians, and the physician who attended to my laceration was quite skilled at the art of suturing, or  joining body tissues together using sterile threads, that is to say closing the wound to promote healing, reduce scarring, and minimize risks like bleeding and infection. I would wish to sincerely thank everyone present in the OR/treatment room for the wonderful care I received. Of course, I hope not to place myself in a position where I need urgent care again, but that be the case, I shall seek out the AFC Urgent Care Bayside.

I'm very happy I decided to go to this urgent care. I booked an appointment and because of traffic I was 15 min late, I thought I lost my appointment but they let me in and all the staff was extremely friendly. The doctor prescribed some antibiotics, I had a problem with the pharmacy, so I had to call and the lady on the phone took the time to help me and sent my medicine to another pharmacy. I totally recommend this place and already feeling better
