I was referred from the VA Richmond Clinic for sore throat and flu-like symptoms. The VA nurse reported 2-hour wait at the VA clinic to see a provider. So, I drove to AFC Urgent Care as a walk-in and waited 15-20 minutes for Provider assessment to rule-out of COVID, Pneumococci, Strep, etc. symptoms. Staff was friendly and efficient. Received After Visit findings, pre-cautionary instructions, prescription for antibiotics. Given a verbal After Visit Summary (AVS-in person) and AVS in writing and call-in to the neighboring HEB Pharmacy for med pick-up. I would definitely recommend this provider service. Thank you!

I was a walk-in and got waited on very quickly. They did not push unnecessary medication, as I was taking over-the-counter meds which they approved.  It gave me piece of mind as they also performed a Covid and strep throat test that turned out negative.   Thank you.
