I removed an embedded deer tick from my torso and the following day noticed the characteristic halo of the Lyme infection. Visited the AFC Urgent Care that (Saturday) afternoon and was quickly able to see a doctor there. He treated me with a large dose of Doxycycline and the following day the infection has subsided. Office location and capabilities is very convenient for weekend medical issues.

I honestly thought a bleeding laceration and feeling faint would have triaged to be sooner. Approximately 90 minutes wait to see a provider. Unfortunately they were short staffed and there were several people ahead of me All of that was beyond their control . All staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The provider took time to explain and answer any questions. He did a great job with the sutures.
