AFC Urgent Care, West Chester

I broke my wrist and was instructed to go to Paoli Hospital. However was not given copies of x-rays to bring with me so hospital had to retake x-rays.

Average experience! Received check in link at ~11:30 and check out link ~1:20. Office seemed clean overall, an old water bottle on the floor but otherwise nothing stood out. Appreciate that water bottles were available. Front staff was fine, not welcoming, but not rude either. Unfortunate that all the check in, paperwork, etc is virtual and yet no tap pay available. Nurses & PA were nice. Pleasant, evaluated my son quickly once we got back, and offered to give him his first dose of medication (but then came back and said they actually didn’t actually have any in office). Happy to have ruled out anything too serious.

Woke up with a red swollen, itchy burning face. My eyes were almost swollen shut!  Made appointment and registered on line, went and got a shot and some medicine for whatever allergy this was. I can’t say enough good things about this urgent care facility. It is professional, clean, organized and the staff and doctors are first class!!!

Scheduling the appointment was really easy and so was checking in. The wait time was quick. However, I am pretty disappointed with the quality of care. It was $75 for a less than 30 minute appointment that I left with no real other information than I went in with. I went in with complaints about pretty severe swollen tonsil pain. I was given a strep test which came back negative. And that was really it, I was told to just keeping doing what I was doing which was just taking ibuprofen despite being in now over a week of pain. I was hoping to get prescribed some sort of antibiotic or steroid to making swallowing and breathing easier but it just felt like I was being rushed out.

The doctor was very kind, caring, and professional. She treated my finger wound with great care and made me feel comfortable. I truly appreciate her help and excellent care. Highly recommend!

Rapid, effective medical care -I love it. I have used Urgent Care before and brought my elderly mother a number of times with great success.  Highly recommended for your urgent medical needs.

Had a persistent cough for over a week and congestion in my chest. I was seeing promptly with x-rays evaluated by a nurse practitioner and prescribed antibiotics. Very smooth service.

Everything would’ve been fine …. Had they not completely misdiagnosed me. Not only did the tell me my temperature was 103.3 (which no other thermometer ALLLLL DAYYY got a reading anywhere near that high) . But then I was told I had a heart murmur. The only good thing they did during my visit was recommend I go to the ER , cause then I was able to go to the ER and be properly diagnosed with PNEUMONIA  . Do the doctors have training at urgent care or what? MAAAAJOR waste of time
