If you have miner aches, pains or swelling, you don’t need to go to your PCP or an emergency department , you go to an urgent care & that’s exactly what I did. Staff were polite & friendly & helped me with the paperwork. The nurse, Laxmi seemed knowledgeable. She took my blood pressure & sent me to the adjoining room to wait for the doctor. Dr. Perez seemed qualified & recommended me for the X-rays. She informed me right away that there was no fracture in my hand & it was just a minor swelling. She didn’t have to call the pharmacy & suggested instead to take OTC painkillers. Overall, the experience was pleasant & I would recommend anyone to give them a try, if the illness is not of a serious nature.

When I went to AFC, I explained how I was feeling. They didn’t have an answer so they took a few X-rays and said that they would contact me the next day.  The office was not busy, so I was surprised by their abrupt care that day.

I had lingering effects from the flu that I just couldn’t shake. I decided to go to urgent care to see if there was some kind of antibiotics or something that I could take to get me over the hump.
