I have been to AFC Urgent Care in West Islip several times Dr's and staff are always friendly , and professional . I was seen once before by Carlos Coello, PA -C , and today for a skin rash, on my arm. He not only took the time to discuss my needs for topical treatments , but spoke to me as a professional & friend ! BRAVO AFC !!! I strongly recommend AFC in West Islip to my pals !

The doctor was a Joke.  At 52 years of age I had an annual bronchial cold.  I was prescribed 5 (not 10 or 20) prednisone 20mg and a z-pac, which doctor claimed was egressive.  I went back today and to get a refill was declined which is far different than the last decade which always worked fine for my health care as well as provider in the past.  I am being shaken down so they can earn running more negative test results and more co-pays.  It is a simple refill that I appeared in person, not just by phone.  So, I am left wheezing with no medication and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GROUP AT ALL!!!  I URGE YOU IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE CHOOSE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!  Disgusting outcome

I didn’t care for the dr that I saw He was quick Need to call him back to check my ears Felt like he didn’t listen to me I had to call back 2 days after I saw him , I needed antibiotics  I knew I had an infection prior to his visit and he didn’t prescribe as I asked him to.  Facility and staff were great. Just didn’t care for the dr.
