I scheduled an appointment for 415 and then waited in the waiting room after multiple walk-ins were seen before me. More of the concern while I was waiting in the waiting room somebody brought in an unregistered unidentified clearly not labeled non-service animal into the waiting room. She had this dog on a retractable leash so it was able to free roam around the waiting room. I believed when staff saw this that they would’ve asked her to remove the pet from the premises but instead she was greeted with aw’s and cuddles and the dog being brought back around to where patients are seen so that nurses could pet it with ungloved hands. As an immuno compromised individual who was up there getting a chest cold taken care of this was highly unprofessional and something that I am even considering reporting to a higher level because that is completely unacceptable for an urgent care
