I prefer Alphacare over my regular physician! He's great and all, but these folks are always there for me! Great care, super friendly.

I can't fault the Dr or nurse-practitioner or whoever it was I saw BUT don't even try to go there today or any other day today's receptionist is working. I had an appointment, arrived on time, but "my name was misspelled as it was inputted wrong by them" so, after an hour, I enquired about the intake procedure. The receptionist realized then that I should have already been seen BUT DID NOT RECTIFY IT by moving me back into the queue. Instead, I languished in limbo. Of course they had been very prompt in collecting my co-pay and processing the billing of my insurance so I had no choice but to stay. When I was finally seen and given a strep test (which I knew I needed), I gave the staff a heads up that I have low blood sugar and needed to eat. Despite that, I waited over 45 minutes more to get the results of the test and being efficiently discharged. So, to all the people in the waiting room, where I sat for over two hours, I am sorry that they made me share my flu germs with you (when I checked in eons ago I offered to sit outside since I was already being treated for the flu). To whomever went into the exam room after me (with no evidence that they clean between patients), I hope you have a healthy immune system. And to any office managers, please explain to your receptionist that, 1) when an error occurs on the part of the staff, it is not acceptable to make someone wait 3 1/2 hours to be tested and receive the results OF A TEN MINUTE TEST. To anyone who chooses a doc-in-a-box because " you can actually get an appointment" (what a family member told me, which was the deciding factor in my going to this location), it doesn't matter WHEN THE RECEPTIONIST IS TOO INCOMPETENT TO EVEN RIGHT A WRONG SHE HAS CAUSED. I hope I get a patient satisfaction survey. In the mean time, I will have as my mission, after my blood sugar stabilizes ( I can't miss meals and even notified them of my history of seizures caused by low blood sugar) to try to save others 3 1/2+ hours of their life they will never get back. If I had no appointment and waited 2-3 hours I would have understood. I empathize with people who work for a living. I make excuses for incompetence. But I find untenable that the receptionist's blunder and the company's policy to book people back-to-back neatly caused me to have a low blood sugar seizure.
