Walked in on a Friday evening with a sore foot after tripping. Got X-rays on the spot. All the staff were friendly. The doctor was patient and clear with his explanations and care instructions. Very helpful getting me referred to an orthopedist.

My visit was quick and all of the staff are great, I just wish I was more informed of my diagnosis before I left. Everyone was very sweet and I had a great experience otherwise.

All was very helpful even with with the fact that they had a company that had about 5-6 scheduled for checkup.

I'm thankful for the kindness I'm shown and the care I receive at American Family Care. I feel that the staff here, genuinely care. They don't make me feel like I'm just a number in line waiting to be seen. So Lord willing I will always come to the American Family Care at the Promanade in Alabaster when I am sick or hurt. I was able to schedule an appointment for 8:40 AM. Filled out all the paperwork from home. Arrived 20 minutes early and checked in.  Used their website to view the patient waitlist.  Although their medical care was great, my frustration was that the took patients that had appointments AFTER mine. Around 8:30, ten minutes before my appointment, they took someone scheduled for 9:00. They also took two walk-ins ahead of me.  I didn’t get called back until just after 9:00. Why did I schedule an appointment if they are not going to see me at that time?  It seemed to me that, despite having a scheduling system, they simply took people in the order they arrived.

We scheduled ahead of time thinking that if we had an appointment we would be seen in order of the appointment times. We didn’t know that people who made appointments after us would be seen before u. It’s ok though when we got back to see the doctor she was extremely fast and made things super easy to take care of after we left.

Caught sinus head cold at Disney Tuesday, walked in Thursday mourning, was seen in 30-40 minutes, doing better, staff always good

I went to get bloodwork. All of the staff were very courteous and attentive! The provider’s bedside manners were amazing!
