What patients are saying...

I had been having gastrointestinal issues for almost a week. I scheduled an appointment on Saturday and was taken back pretty quickly. However there wasn’t much that I was told past them getting my vitals. They called me in a zofran and that was it. Nothing else to inform me on how to manage my symptoms or where to go from here. I left feeling like I had more questions than when I came in.

Such a great experience to be able to book an appt -walk in and be seen right away. PA and nurse aide were the best! Your automated booking voice sounds so real and authentic 😊

Check in was quick and wait time was minimal. Front desk staff was more interested in talking amongst themselves rather than providing a good patient experience. Care was provided in a timely and professional manner. One concern is that provider said they would call with x-ray results same day, and this was not done. I understand that results being related depend upon another department, but it would be better to say you will call as soon as possible rather than guarantee same day.

was there for a routine, random drug screen. The check in process required me to take a phone of my license, file out an online paperwork on the Solv website, and then manually fill out nearly the same paperwork. For what should have been a 1/2 hour visit, it was nearly 2 hours. I hate going to AFC. The last drug screen I took was a at an occupational health clinic at UAB. I was there 20 minutes. I would never use AFC for anything personal. Unfortunately, I have to go where my company sends me. It varies depending on my location at that time.

Had been dealing with pain on the left side of my face.  Then my throat started hurting really bad.  Tylenol and ibuprofen didn’t touch the pain. I went AFC and immediately Dr Witherspoon found the problem. Great job to all the staff today!!!

Went in for spider bite. Doctor tried to use a needle to puncture the wound that didn’t work so he used a scalpel he didn’t get in the area next day. It was worse and I ended up in the ER two things you don’t do for a spider bite is puncture or squeeze and he did both and now it has the infection spread. I may have to have surgery.

Sore throat, cough, congestion. They got me in quickly, but then I waited in the patient room for almost an hour before the nurse came in and said everything was negative. They offered me a steroid shot, and the lady who did it seemed to be having a rough day so her patience with me was very little. She didn’t even put a bandaid on after the shot so now I have to worry about bloodstains on my clothing. Overall a crappy experience when I was already feeling crappy.

Pulled muscle in my back, scheduled online and was seen fairly quick, staff was great, and was great at explaining everything.

Came in for a referral. Was there for 1.5 hours. Mostly waiting on the nurse practitioner to even come into the room. After she came to the room she was awesome and friendly and quick after first seeing me. The nurse who took my vitals on the other hand had little to no repor effort with me. Very monotone and seemed like she couldn’t give a single care in the world. Walls were a little dirty but I don’t mind this place.
