American Family Care, Danbury - Main Street

I would recommend AFC Urgent Care Danbury to anyone seeking top notch exceptional health care. From the time I reached out,scheduling was so easy that I was able to get an appointment within a few hours on the same day. The staff is awesome! From the time you enter the facility you are greeted by Keith, the office manager,who sets a very positive,welcoming,tone. I've seen Haig Dodakian,one of the providers at AFC Urgent Care Danbury, several times and he is a highly skilled,very astute professional,that I really trust.

I have an infected hangnail. It's already feeling better. The doctor is extremely nice and kind.

Front staff, MA and MD were all friendly and personable.  Doctor did not feel rushed, explained his thought process and was attentive and knowledgeable.  It was the last visit of the night so I appreciated the time.   My only complaint was with AFC overall - when I made calls initially I was told to go to the East location bc Main was very busy.  East said in the phone/verbally they could take me but when they saw my injury at the desk they said they didn’t have supplies and I should go to Main.  Fortunately it was 7 and there were still slots open at Main.  So my experience at Main Street was positive but it was a bit chaotic getting to that point.

Was feeling super crappy, but I was able to make an appointment, put in my information and check in all to easily! My only issue and the biggest issue for me was that even with appointment, you still face ridiculous wait times. My appointment was at 10:20, I wasn’t called to the back all while all of the walk ins were seen before me !

The only problem was that I had to reschedule twice in Office and i had to wait another 55 minutes to get been seen and my appointment was scheduled for 9:50am!

I wanted 2 issues dealt with but they can't only do one I was not very happy.

Appointment was easy to book by phone and schedule within 30 minutes of call. Waiting room time wasn’t too bad. Once in examination room, doctor’s assistant was somewhat inattentive. Waited for doctor in the room for about an hour. Actual visit was quick, doctor was friendly. Was given a brace and the staff didn’t put it on correctly.

If you pay cash you need to have the exact amount Other wise  They keep the change

Receptionist was nice and helpful!  The Check-in process was easy!  I was in and out in an hour not bad!
