American Family Care, Eastchase

Everyone was amazing. I was able to get in and out. Dr. Pratt was very thorough and I really appreciate him listening. He is definitely a good doctor and I would refer anyone to come to  this AFC

After a disappointing experience at another urgent care, I found AFC Eastchase online and was able to check in and complete all my paperwork before arriving. I arrived 45 minutes early and was seen and finished before my actual appointment time! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Such a smooth and pleasant experience, especially when you’re not feeling well. I’ll definitely be back!

The PA was amazing! He treated my wound with great care. His bedside manner was excellent. The staff at check in was okay but not friendly and considering I had a head wound it was difficult to navigate the check in process. The facility restrooms were dirty and understocked. There was a rolled up tampon on the counter and no toilet paper. I’m thankful for the care but the facility needs the staff to take better care of items and stock. The PA wanted to use glue for my wound but it hadn’t been stocked so he used steri- strips. My wound continued to bleed after I got home.

Overall a good experience. My one real complaint is a lack of patient privacy. Nurse intake is done behind a curtain with other patients sitting right outside the curtain. The nurse/patient conversation can be heard by the other patients. There were three other patients who were processed while I was sitting outside the curtain. I heard the entire conversation between all three patients and the intake nurse. As far as quality of care I was very pleased. The physician who cared for me was clear and instructive on my treatment plan and the nurse, who seemed overworked, was caring and knowledgeable. The wait time was a little beyond what I would have expected after having made an appointment. I would recommend AFC for urgent care needs.

My doctor was unavailable so my daughter scheduled a visit for me as I had a sore throat coughing and very fatigued. Tests made on throat and nose.. Dr was professional and easy to discuss my symptoms. I would recommend AMC.

The staff was excellent to me . He help me with my  check in . I really appreciated the care they showed me .

Easy to schedule and friendly staff. Was not sure if they sent in an antibiotic to my local pharmacy.  Having a hard time finding my discharge notes

Yesterday’s visit was useless. They ran out of covid tests.

Made an appointment for my son for 2:30 and arrived on time. At 3:55 he was finally called back after 5 other people were seen before him even though they arrived 20-60 after me. He checked in multiple times with the front desk and she had zero concern. I finally called the office myself (he is away at college) and he was finally called back. The doctor spent less than 2 minutes and also showed zero concern. We normally choose AFC because of wait time and doctor care but we will not be choosing this location again.

Scheduling was easy and everyone was welcoming and helpful.
