Booked an appointment for an injury. Was in and out in no time and staff was very pleasant and attentive. Great experience

Great staff very helpful! I scheduled an appointment did everything online quick in and out. Medication was sent right away to the pharmacy.

I would like to start by saying thank you to every single person at AFC West Springfield.   First Ashlin who was at the front desk, listened to me thoughtfully and told me that unfortunately they were no longer taking walk-ins because I did walk in very close to closing time.  I had a very bad hive reaction and I was very uncomfortable.  I think for that reason she allowed me to check in anyway, and quickly pushed me through.  I’m pretty sure she asked if it was OK to put one more person through and just the thought of her doing that is literally life-saving because I was so uncomfortable and in pain.  When I was called in I saw Amber who was very understanding and told me not to worry about the time to just tell her what was going on and took all of my information and vitals.  She was not in a hurry at all which was so comforting.  I was treated by Bethany, who immediately knew how to help me when she heard my symptoms.  She also listened thoughtfully and spoke to me about what she knows about my condition. Then she quickly went and got me meds.  Even though it was closing time, she made sure that I had no negative reactions and even asked me how far I lived from there because she wanted to make sure I could get home quickly.   All in all, it was the  thoughtfulness of each person that I encountered.  I am most grateful for Ashlin for her quick efforts to help me.

Labor Day Holiday was bitten by a dog. Went in as a walk in. Greeted immediately by a friendly young woman who was professional, efficient and had me ready to be seen in 2 minutes flat.  There were 6 patients ahead of me, and I was seen, treated and out in under 30 minutes.  Care giver was professional, thorough and kind.  If you need urgent care this is the right place to go.

The staff was all really nice. There was a fly in the room I was waiting in which just makes it seem like it’s not super clean. I was concerned I had strep throat and they gave me a strep test, but I’m now home and I feel worse and am developing chest congestion and a cough. Mostly I’m just frustrated because I left with the idea that like I didn’t have strep and therefore I was fine, but I really don’t feel fine and there wasn’t any discussion of what else might be wrong with me.  I also can’t find any visit notes. Is it a cold? Is it something else? I feel like they did not give me very much education as to what else could be going on.

Woke up with a swollen arm due to a bug bite. Went on their website, scheduled an appointment and was seen not long after my scheduled time. Friendly staff, overall no complaints.

I came in with a sore throat and wanted to rule out the need for antibiotics as I am traveling soon. The wait at walk-in was over an hour so I opted to schedule an appointment for later that day. My appointment was scheduled for 4:40 and I got in about 5:05. That wasn’t terrible as it is an urgent care and there was only one provider on staff. I questioned the white in the back of my throat and the provider said they were tonsil stones. I told him I don’t have my tonsils. It felt like that may have annoyed him and he checked again. He said sometimes they can grow back. That may be true but mine have not grown back. Then he said the white is just a discoloration and not of concern. The nurse who took my vitals closed the exam room door when she left the room. But the provider left the exam room door wide open when he left the room. Staff were friendly and pleasant and wait time was to be expected.
