I was treated by Dr. Debra Dale Walek. I had a swollen knee that really hurt. There were multiple possibilities as to the cause. The Dr. Listened intently to me and considered all factors. IMO her critical thinking skills were awesome. It was obvious she really cared. I was so lucky to find Atmed. We were from out of town, so we were not sure what we would get. But what a nice surprise. John

I wanted to write this review because I have never been here before and search it before I went. The reviews had a few not so great ones. So I wanted to share my experience. I went at 5pm on a Friday evening. Was the only one in the waiting room. Secretary very nice, brought me up to the window did what she had to do to enroll me. Within mins. I was in the room and had someone come in ask me questions and started right away what was needed. Got an X-Ray done by a pleasant man. Came back to the room, got some blood work done. 20mins or so had results on the ones that were done there. Gave me info on when ill get the others back. Explained my next step. And was out. Everyone was pleasant. Those who had bad experiences I'm sorry you did, but I would try them again. People could of had a bad day or the shift of people was differnt. Just know their are people there who care. I will use them in the future.

Maybe this can help someone. 04/24/21, I made an appointment three days ago for COVID rapid test for my kids, after one week of school break, since from now on the school only requires the rapid test and the Urgent Care said ok. When I arrived to the urgent care I asked the nurse: is it the rapid test? and she said yes it is then she started doing the test twice for each kid. I was surprised why she was doing that, and I asked again : are you doing the rapid test or both (PCR)? she told me both, I explained to her about the school requirement that was only the rapid test and also when I called the urgent care to make the appointment I asked the same thing and still when I asked her at the moment of the test she told me Yes. She got upset and answered me they don’t do only the rapid test. So, my question: why didn’t they do only the PCR test? But it’s obvious that they want to make money with my insurance and also making my kids suffer since they blowed their nose because the test . I highly don’t recommend you, I have a lot experience with urgent care system since I have three kids and I used to visited some urgent care and not all have the same system. I recommend read the reviews before you go there .

I think they disconnected their phone line. Called 3 days in a row straight to a beep. A few times I called it went through and then again went to a beep.

I just found out that my husband tested positive for Covid this morning so I called Atmed immediately to schedule a test for my 12 yr old son. "Wendy" answered the phone and much to my relief, told me I could bring him in immediately. She asked me to spell his name and as I was spelling it, she rudely shouted, "Slow down, slow down." I replied, "You have no reason to yell at me" and she responded, "Well, you were going too fast." She ended up hanging up on me abruptly. I called again and when I asked her why she hung up on me, she was noticeably irritated and told me that the next available appointment isn't until Sunday. I asked her why she told me 30 seconds ago that they have availability for today and she hung up on my a second time. I was shocked so I actually drove there and asked to speak to someone. The Office Manager, Pam was VERY kind, patient and professional. She explained that Wendy handles the office billing and has been tasked with helping Pam schedule the appointments. Wendy overheard this conversation, got out of her seat, walked towards me and told me to leave. She actually said, "Get out of here." I calmy told her that I will be following up with her supervisor and she said, "Good for you." I felt sorry for Pam who has to work with this woman. I was not expecting someone so incompetent, rude, unprofessional and unhinged to work at a medical facility. I am typically unphased by rude behavior but I worry that she will continue to treat others the same way and there are many people who are very nervous considering current circumstances. They should not have to be subjected to someone as abrasive and rough around the edges as Wendy in the Billing Department.

The lady at the front desk was rude and argumentative. And certainly not helpful. The place itself is a very cold, sterile type of atmosphere that permeates throughout the interaction with the staff. But the lady at the front desk is condescending and uninviting. This time I walked out of there because of her as did another waiting customer. This was simply a nasty experience.

I went in to get a PCR test for work. There were 2 receptionists sitting at the desk. One just sitting there and one on the phone. The one on the phone asked me what I needed. I told her and she said just a minute. I waited a few minutes and the one doing nothing said to come over to her window. She asked me if I called for an appointment. I told her I tried but the line was always busy. She asked if I had an insurance card. I told her not with me. She said I needed an insurance card. I told her I would pay cash. She said I needed an insurance card. She asked if I had an ID. I said no. She said I cannot make an appointment without an. ID. Funny how I can make an appointment on the phone without an ID???? BTW got a free PCR test in a walk up clinic no appointment, no ID, and no insurance card with a 15 minute wait.
