I am an older woman (61) and this was my first visit to the Urgent Care facility. The reception ladies were very polite and friendly, one of them even apologizing for the wait time, (only two providers) and offering anyone who needed it a bottle of water. The nursing staff were also very friendly, and I certainly enjoyed talking to the woman who was there to take my vitals. The so-called 'care provider' was a very different story. I was seen, as it were, by a woman listed on my discharge sheet as Virginia Gilliam, PA. I have no issue seeing a Physician's Assistant, or a Nurse Practitioner, my issue is with the complete lack of empathy or any kind of care that I was given by this woman. She never once examined the injury I came in for, never asked me to demonstrate what kind of mobility I had, nothing. She asked me what I had been doing for the problem, and after I told her, she said I should just keep doing what I had been, because there was nothing else to do. In addition, when I asked her for suggestions about what I could add to my diet to help with muscle healing, she replied, "I don't know, I can't think of anything." What kind of response is that from a medical professional? She did nothing for me, would offer no help or advice, so what did I go in there for? Obviously, I just wasted my time and money, and will not be recommending this place as long as Ms. Gilliam is on their duty roster.

This place is bullshit. The wait times here are ridiculous. I understand it being walk in. But don’t allow ppl who made times online to pass others. It’s ridiculous, also run with two practitioner or something or cut off an amount of ppl if u can’t be seen in orderly time.! I also believe that younger children should be seen first.!!

Don’t waste your money on this place. If you question the np or doctor you are considered “disrespectful” and asked to leave. Worse experience ever.

The ladies at the front desk were wonderful, I made my apt on the internet so wait time wasn't bad except once in the room I had to wait almost an hour on the doctor. Once the doctor came in she asked what my symptoms were and if I had had the flu shot I replied no she in a very rude tone informed me this is cold and flu season and it takes 5 to 7 days to get over it just to keep doing what I was doing. Worst bed side manner I have ever encountered. Once she knew that I did not take the flu shot her whole personality changed and she was done with me.
