Couldn’t get in with my regular doctor and wanted to be seen before the weekend so I came here. I felt the nurse practitioner talked to me like I was wasting his time coming there. No beside manner at all. Next time I will wait for my regular doctor.

I was passing through on my way to Jasper when I got sick, so I opted to get checked out. The guy who did my vitals was great (other than not wearing gloves when he did my Covid and flu tests). The Nurse Practioner was over the top. She was belittling and like "I know what I'm doing and you don't." She wanted to test for Covid and flu, which I knew wasn't what was wrong with me, not even the same symptoms. When I refused, she got bent out of shape. So, I went with it. Negative for both Covid and flu. Imagine that! Some may see this as a good thing, but she spent way too much time with me. If I had been in the waiting room, I'd have been upset with how long she took on me. When it was all said and done, I went home with a dose of ibuprofen and a prescription for nausea meds. Probably should have skipped this visit and self-medicated, but never hurts to get checked out when you're not feeling well, I reckon.
