Baylor Scott & White Urgent Care +, Cedar Hill

I originally called to get an appointment with Baylor Midlothian, but wasn't able to choose where I wanted to go. I was offered an appointment, once I accepted the appointment I was told it was in Cedar Hill. I was asked to fill out a lot of paperwork, which was already on file with Baylor. Once I got to Cedar Hill, I was asked to complete the paperwork, which the link would not let me complete. Then I was asked to pay a copay, which I have never had to do at a Baylor urgent care. When I questioned the copay I was told this clinic is only in a partnership with Baylor. Had I known this ahead of time I would have driven to Baylor Midlothian and gone in as a walkin. This experience was very disturbing to me. For this reason I will not be returning to Cedar Hill. The staff personnel and physician were wonderful. I had no problem with them. The only thing I can say about that was once placed in the exam room I needed to wait 1 hour past my appointment time to see the doctor.

The exam room stank. Nurse couldn’t get my blood after two attempts on both arms. The PA argued with me about wanting to be tested. Would not recommend and it didn’t seem worth the cost. I was better off going to a real doctor office.

After experiencing worsening allergies for 3 days, I seamlessly scheduled an appointment as I didn't rest well through the night due to post nasal drip despite taking Benadryl, Zyrtec and Claritin. Upon awakening, I experienced a headache, ear congestion and sinus pressure in my forehead, behind my eyes and in my cheekbones. Having been diagnosed with seasonal allergies as an infant, I am keenly aware of the signs my body sends me when I am becoming ill. I was greeted nicely upon arrival, checked in and taken back after a 5 minute wait. The young lady who checked my vitals was professional, but the interaction felt scripted rather than one of genuine concern expected in a healthcare setting. She also spoke too fast, making it difficult to understand what she was saying. I waited approximately 25 minutes for PA Jorge Candiotti, who was absolutely awful! In addition to lecturing me on how to use OTC meds (as if I have never experienced allergy symptoms), he verbally suggested that I increase the dosage of OTC Zyrtec and Claritin to an amount that is more than what is directed on the label, which I am expressed that I was uncomfortable with and attempted to explain why I scheduled the appointment. He then wrote a prescription for items that I can purchase over-the-counter. Why??? He is rude, arrogant, dismissive and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend him to my worse enemy.

scheduling my appointment for want so difficult i had an appointment at 6. Now yes i understand if their is walks they would seen first a little heads up  would of been nice instead of getting told “they’ll be with you shortly” i waited an hour to get my vitals done. Michelle was amazing being in the room for about 30 minutes and for Dr.Jesi (a short name for her) she was very disruptive,careless,rushed, and inconsiderate. While i was explaining on why i was here i wanted to let her know how i also feel she could care less disrupted me telling me “alright but why” every time i tried explaining she was very demanding to get to the point didn’t ask me questions on how I felt. Wouldn’t want to come here again if it’s the same Dr.

I woke up with a sore throat, body aches and a very high fever. I was looking for a place to go that took my insurance. I saw me earlier than my check in time. The receptionist was very nice and made sure I was taken care of. The nurse was amazing and she took her time with me even though I was walking very low due to pain. The doctor was very professional and actually cared about my pain

My visit at Baylor Scott & White Urgent Care in Cedar Hill was a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience. Everyone one there was very professional, kind and very helpful. What stood out most was the speed, cleanliness and price. Bri, is definitely operating in her calling. Her customer service is rare and her personality is a cut above the rest! I recommend this location and I will be back!

woke up with my asthma flareup . got there was quik .just need provider to call in stomach medicine and hasnt answer to pharmacist .

Scheduling, check-in, staff and care was very good

Dr Beene always knowledgeable, listens, and gracious.

As always the staff is purely amazing. Qiante welcomed me in with a warm and genuine smile. The M.A puts the ‘M, ‘A in aMAzing. Dr. Beene is a throwback to the doctors who actually cared about their patients. All top marks!
