NextCare Urgent Care, Montgomery - a BSWHealth partner

I came from out of town visiting from Chicago and I had an acute exacerbation of some kind of allergies and my nose was completely swollen. Although the staff was very nice and the office got me into the exam room rather quickly within 10 minutes I was sitting in the exam room for about 30 minutes waiting for the nurse practitioner to come in. I thought that was an extraordinary long wait time considering the waiting room was completely empty. Nobody was there. I asked a lady at the desk how much longer it would be, and the nurse practitioner came in in about 10 more minutes. I was told by another staff member that the nurse practitioner was a little slow on charting that she likes to chart immediately after seeing her patience, which I completely understand but it would’ve been courteous and nice just for a staff member to come into the exam room you know at least after 15 minutes and let me know that would be just a few minutes Longer. I would appreciated that much more than me having to come out and ask them.

Check in was easy. The MA’s working last night Sean, Claudia, and Jayln make me feel so comfortable. Branch the provider working really cares about his patients and giving the best care.

Woke up with an ear ache and went to the clinic!  The clinic is clean the folks friendly and efficient!

I developed red itchy rash on both arms and knees after working in garden possible poison ivy or tiny mosquitoes. No problem with scheduling or most staff EXCEPT with blood pressure readings by staff. 236/106, 260/110, and then closer to my normal 163 over 88. When I informed them about the discrepancy they said the used a child cuff on me for the bad reading. Wow. Please be more careful. I am over 80 years of age and that was not enjoyable. They did provide me with pills and cream for the rash and itch that did help lessen both. I would recommend Next Care for emergencies.

Great visit from start to finish! Provider and staff were all wonderful!

The receptionist was great.  The other staff, aide and doctor, leave a lot to be desired.  Would not recommend to others to use this clinic

The staff at this care unit is amazing. Even though they change often I have never had a bad experience here. I set the appointment and get in within minutes after arrival. They’re caring, professional, and I’ve never had any issues. When you are sick with a cold or the flu, you need immediate attention. Calling your doctor’s office for an appointment takes days to get in, and by that time you’re over the illness, so this is my first go to healthcare facility in case of an emergency, like a cold, flu, sore throat, bronchitis, etc!

Try listening to the patient a little better. I tried to explain that I’m surrounded by dust and silica in an LNG plant. 2 days off with bronchitis. Mind blown.

I had the best and fastest care at Next Care. The Nurse practioner was compassionate and helpful with my abdominal pain. She prescribed medication which I picked up within 30 at CVS next door   The staff were professional and helpful too.

Staff was kind and considerate.  Physician assistant was attentive and thorough.
