Saturday was day 4 of not feeling great with the flu/chest infection. So after self medicating and not getting better I decided to go to urgent care. Scheduling was easy and reception was friendly. The nurse practitioner who saw me on Saturday wasn’t great at all. I felt like I was treated for a simple cold (keep in mind this was day 4 and I wasn’t getting better) not many questions were asked. I just don’t think a thorough explanation was done to really identify how to treat me. It was more of a wait and see approach which isn’t ideal when you have made the decision to come into an urgent care. If I was ill again I would definitely look elsewhere if she was the nurse on duty.
