On 8-4-19 I went to Care Now for an ear issue twice. All of the staff, except for Ruben Pena, PA, were excellent. He did not listen to my complaint regarding my ear issue. He did not fully exam my ear. He did not address the drainage from my ear in his diagnosis. On my second visit for that day, he again did not address my complaint and reported that the sample of what was draining from my ear--yellow green fluid-- was NOT an infection. We had words. Mr. Ruben Pena does NOT represent the excellent standard of care that Care Now provides to this community. On my third visit for this same issue, the following day, 8-5-19, Amelia Holmes, NP, provided that excellence of care model. She addressed all issues and provided a proper treatment plan. Mr.Ruben Pena would benefit from a refresher course on how to interview a patient and how to properly exam an ear. Do not judge Care Now solely by this one poor performer.

This was the worst health care provider experience of my life. Went in for COVID test was there for two hours and was finally called back for results and they had lost both test swabs and was told they needed to take new ones and I had three people ahead of me before I would see the doctor for results which would take another hour??? What complete incompetence,. I told the young lady I couldn't wait that long and was going to leave, and was told my insurance company would be charged? really!!! I told her this was not right and she told me to check with the front desk. By this time I was pretty upset. Front desk said about the same. I left in complete disgust without the tests and results. By the way, I registered on line as requested hours before the appointment.

I went in with a injury to my foot and toes , the Dr has no bedside manner and the man that did my xrays was even ruder , matter of fact I told the X-ray tech I have a muscle disease and it’s difficult for me to get on the X-ray table , he said ok and offered no help . I left there with being told I have two fractures and a ortho will call me , I makeshift tape job on my toes and a mans size med boot , I was giving a pain pill that caused my MG to flair and also severe stomach pains , my husband phoned them the next day and they said their is nothing else we can give you for pain buy something OTC and again had no professionalism or even pretended to care they care about their patients. My husband asked to speak to the dr and the man said he is to busy and my husband said can he call me back and he said no !
