i was here yesterday as soon as they opened at 8am. i got out of my car at 7:59 and waited for somebody to unlock the door. i was barely able to stand bc i had had the flu for now 3 days at this point, unknowingly. i kneeled down bc i was losing my balance and i felt so dizzy. a couple minutes after 8 o'clock, the doctor comes around the corner and does not even look my way and the receptionist who was already in the building opens the door for him and NEITHER of them acknowledged me OR held the door open for me. maybe i looked like a crackhead to them but i also had my sister w me who looked put together so that should of been an indicator that i wasn't some homeless person. i'm just so tired of the medical industry seeing us as dollar signs. it just seems like either these people are just here for the money or they have just become so so so desensitized. anyways i came inside, and being so out of it i had forgotten my ID. my sister asked if there was anyway i could get looked at and bring my ID at checkout or anything and the receptionist gave us so much attitude. i don't expect anybody to bend the rules or anything but even just a "i'm sorry sweetie come back w your ID and we will take you in" she was just no no no. so i went to the care now on maryland's and silverado ranch with my ID and they treated me much better i am now on steroids some kind of antibiotic and ibubrofen. maybe my flu wasn't the worst sickness they've seen but i'm tired of the lack of empathy the medical industry has shown me and my family which is the reason i waited 3 days to go in for a 102 fever.
