Okay, I understand and have been tracking COVID-19 and even not being a doctor or technician think I grasp some of the basic difficulties. I arrived yesterday afternoon and was informed that you were no longer taking walk-ins. Fine, I understand. Did I wish to make an appointment? No, I have a large cyst-like abscess on my arm which hasn't healed and at bottom line would like to know if it's giving me blood poisoning or gangrene. So today I did another walk-in at approximately 8: 30 am, and after sitting for 5 hours finally asked if I had missed my name being called when I was told that there were 6 walk-ins in front of me. How can there possibly be 6 walk-ins ahead of me when I arrived and sat with every kind of patience and understanding for 5 hours already? If I sat another 5 hours as patients came and went would there be another 6 ahead of me? I'm sorry, but even in our present conditions I find this completely inexcusable. I wrote a polite note of explanation, announced that I was leaving and tried to ignore your receptionist's "Have a nice day." If you can't take walk-ins don't take them. I could have been looking for another facility instead of being left to feel it wouldn't even matter if my arm were amputated when no one had, obviously, even looked at it to see how bad it was. I feel awful about even seeking help in the first place.
