I walked into City MD not feeling well, I was very sick. City MD typically has a policy where they will take your phone number and send you a text message when you are ready. This is a smart way to keep patients safe due to covid. For whatever reason, the night I showed up they told me they are no longer following that policy. Instead, I was instructed to wait in a small entrance way with no chairs because the lobby was cold. Being sick, I did not want to wait in a cold, small entrance way. I instead left and went to another City MD where I was given a test and tested positive for COVID-19. The reason I am filing a complaint was not only because City MD dehumanized me, their policy of making me wait in a small entranceway could have caused other patients to get infected with COVID-19.
