The sign-in process is absurd especially because I had an eye injury that made creating an account very difficult. I don't understand why the receptionist couldn't ask a few questions and help me out. Forcing the patient to do all that work while they're in distress is ridiculous and very difficult. Also, calling your $90 upfront fee a copay is wrong. I don't have a copay on my insurance but calling that fee a copay is misleading and needs to be changed. I hope this review is actually read and not ignored or dismissed.

We have loved Comp Care in the past but apparently staff has turned over and are awful now. The actual provider never even entered the room, just her ARNP student. Didn’t address the concerning symptoms we came in with, just glossed over it with a “lots of viruses going around”. Lazy. I worked in a hospital for 10 years and have enough medical knowledge to know that headache, neck pain and fever can be concerning symptoms, which they glossed over completely. Just asked if she had fallen recently. We won’t be back and be sure to tell everyone we know to avoid this place like the plague as they can’t even be bothered to have an actual trained clinician enter the room. Add to that, the student had a crappy bedside manor. Do better!

When our toddler woke us up crying with ear pain at 2am on New Years Eve, we figured the ER wasn't necessary, but started searching for nearby urgent care. The hours were very convenient and waiting time was less than 5 min. Front desk staff and medical personnel were amazing with our little guy! Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind! My only gripe would be the multiple complicated steps and screens for scheduling the appt. But i suppose it's either go thru them all upfront or fill out reams of paperwork in person, which we thankfully avoided.

I did not receive a discharge summary and when I asked for one I was told to just talk to the pharmacist about the prescriptions I was given. I was not informed about what to do if my symptoms worsened. I felt rushed at the end and didn’t leave with critical info about my diagnosis. I appreciate getting in quickly and everyone was friendly but I don’t think some basic quality of care standards were achieved.

We ended up at the pediatrician the next morning because the antibiotics prescribed at CompCare are not generally prescribed for children and our pediatrician said they weren’t needed.
