I walked into Coxsackie EmUrgent Care in horrible pain from a very bad UTI. I had been in pain for days trying to wait until I received my SS check to make the copay my insurance charges but had started showing blood in my urine and the pain had become intense. Glenmont EmUrgent Care had refused to see me because I didn't have my copay. Coxsackie took care of me and I am now on medication. I will return this morning to pay my copay from last night. I want to thank them as the pain had become unbearable.

I went there with concerns over my four year old daughter's fever, strange rash on scalp and swollen lympnodes and upset stomach. I was told the lumps were definitely not lympnodes and literally was told "Hmmmm...I don't know what this could be, go home and keep an eye on it." Good thing I did the opposite and decided to head to Albany Med to get an actual answer. Turns out the lumps were infected lympnodes like I first thought and she is now being treated properly with antibiotics. It would be nice to see a little more concern and care when it comes to their patients, especially young children.

My husband went in for chest pain, they do EKG 3 times, the so called nurse practitioner who read it stated he needs to go to the hospital by ambulance. He said no my wife will take me we get to the hospital they look at the EKG as we sat there for 3 hours! They said there was nothing wrong with the EKG! We don’t know why she sent you here! This place is a joke! He could of had chest pain for A number of reasons but a heat attack as she said wasn’t one!!!

Dr. Chen is awful, her bedside manor is an absolute disgrace! Two of my family members have been seen by her and for her to tell one of them they broke their ankle because she was “too fat” and the other was called “stupid” for being seen for an illness and needing a dr. note. To speak to a patient like that is down right wrong. Also being the only patient there ( first one in the morning) and waiting for over 20 mins is uncalled for. I advise you to avoid seeing this provider if at all possible!
