First of all, they advertise “hold my spot” and they will call 20 minutes prior to you coming in when they don’t even do that. Upon entering I was greeted very kindly. Once I explained my symptoms and the reason why I was there with a 10 day cough and cold took on a whole new look. I basically got treated like I had the plague. Even the doctor appeared afraid of me. He didn’t even want to listen to my lungs because he didn’t want to get near me. Isn’t this a doctors office? I almost felt like I was getting scolded by him for being sick. I told him that I would pray for all of them that they would not get sick. I kept it very friendly as I walked out but I almost found myself wanting to minister to them. I felt they were pretty unprofessional, cowardly, cold, and it hasn’t sat right with me since my visit.

I went to EPN Urgent Care this morning and got there about 30 minutes after they opened. Check-in was easy and they took precautions. I chose to wait in my care until I was able to go into a room. That is where the problems started. I got into a room an hour after arriving. Sitting there for about 10 minutes, I heard the doctor go into the room next to me. The walls are pretty thin and he proceeded to talk to the people in the room next to me for at least 15 minutes (probably more) about politics. I am waiting to get the care I came there for and he keeps me waiting while he is talking politics. I know this because I heard him say "I want to be as rich as possible", I heard him mention Trump and then he said "Democrats". I don't care what his political views are, I care that he kept me waiting while not doing his job. I got up and asked the nurse if there was only one doctor on duty and she said yes. I told her what was going on and she said okay. I went back into the room and proceeded to wait another 20 minutes. I was in the room for 60 minutes from the time I went back. I decided to leave and when I left, the patient in the room next to me that the doctor was taking care of came in after me. So unprofessional. I would not recommend Dr. Howard Linzer, DO to anyone. He puts his social life before his patients needs.
