My husband and I can’t say enough about Magan. The staff is friendly and so helpful! Calls are returned within hours if I need to speak to someone. Prescriptions are refilled immediately . Wait time to see the doctor is minimal. The waiting room and exam rooms have been refurbished We are so pleased to have found doctors and medical staff who genuinely care.

Totally unprofessional staff at billing dpt.will send Invoices to wrong addresses then send to collection agency rather than contact patient, even though patients are at facility. Dr care is good, but overshadowed by unprofessional billing department, rude, talks down to patient, will not listen to concerns, then makes excuses to hang up on you, would not recommend .

i Called several times on different days to make a pediatrician appointment and has been imposible to get to the scheduling department. In the past it wasn’t usually that hard to get somebody on the line but lately is really not possible. As much as I like Dr Chen as my daughters pediatrician, it is of not use if I can not get an appointment for them.

MAGAN medical clinic service has went down. Before they were bought out by Optum they had a great and friendly staff. To make an appointment it was fast and easy and now there is 15-20 minute wait. The urgent care wait was usually fast but now it’s taking them over 2 hours. I have decided to switch medical groups since they just don’t have the same service they had in the past.

I am writing this in hopes that sharing my grandma’s horrible experience with this place could potentially help others. A couple months ago my grandma went into Magan complaining of severe pain in her hip and leg. She was told by the doctor that her “pants were too tight”. The doctor said this without doing an exam or ordering any diagnostic testing. My grandma left feeling very embarrassed as well as confused. Her pain persisted so my family and I urged her to go back in and get a second opinion from another doctor at Magan. She then went in to see another doctor and was ordered to have an ultrasound. The ultrasound revealed that my grandma had a blood clot in her leg which was the source of the pain and swelling. This is not the first time my grandma has been treated this way by the doctors at this facility. There was another occasion where my grandma went in with an issue and was told that there was nothing wrong with her and her issues were due to age. My grandma is 80 years old and gets very nervous going to the doctors so she has trouble speaking up for herself and I really believe the doctors took advantage of the fact that she was elderly. The only reason my grandma continued to go to Magan was because it was close to her house therefore making it easy for her to drive to. After speaking with her I was able to convince her to switch medical groups. It is very clear to me that the doctors/staff here seem to be incompetent and have no bedside manners especially with the elderly patients. I sincerely hope that nobody else has to endure the humiliation and lack of quality medical care that my grandma received while being a patient at Magan Medical Clinic.

Just about the waiting time it’s absolutely awful I am not even going to commenting the rest of the service cause it doesn’t matter after waiting more than 3 hours so I’m not giving them a single star. Hahaha It won’t even let me gave them no stars so I’ll if I can give them half.

The main clinic in Covina is horrible!! It has really deteriorated over the years. It is now nearly IMPOSSIBLE to even get through to make an appointment to see a Doctor, or leave a message for a provider. When you call it says "they're experiencing a higher call volume than usual, and you can leave a message to get a call the next day"... NOPE! You just get directed to an auto recording saying the mailbox is full.... then 45 min. To 1 hour later someone answers....SERIOUSLY guys!? Nobody should ever have to wait THIS long to speak to someone by phone!!! Please, hire more people to at least handle the phone lines!!!
